Our region is home to some fantastic op shops that are really making a difference. Not only do they divert thousands of tonnes of waste from landfill, but they also offer budget-friendly options and often support vital community programs.
Money raised by the Strathalbyn Opportunity Shop stays in the community, funding various projects at the local hospital and aged care home. Well done to the 30 volunteers who run this independent and community-focussed shop.

More than 200 locals turned out last night for a Defence community information session about the future of the Woodside Barracks.
The level of interest and concern from our community reflects the significance of the site, its heritage and environment. A community working group is being formed to consider potential future uses for the Barracks and put submissions to the Government.
I’ll continue to engage with our community and stakeholders throughout the process.
