Congratulatory Messages
My office can help arrange for Mayo residents to receive a personal congratulations for special birthdays and wedding anniversaries.
Anniversary or birthday messages can be arranged up to two months before the celebration, and up to one month after.
You’ll need supporting documents such as a birth certificate or marriage certificate, or if these aren’t available, you’ll need a statutory declaration.
Australians can receive a message from the Prime Minister:
- on their 50th wedding anniversary and every year after
- on their 90th birthday and every year after
Australians can receive a message from the Governor-General:
- on their 50th wedding anniversary and every year after
- on their 100th birthday and every year after
Australians can receive a message from The King:
- on their 60th wedding anniversary and every fifth year after
- on their 100th birthday and every fifth year after
